This role focuses on delivering targeted reading instruction and managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for a caseload of 12 students. Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience developing, writing, and implementing IEPs
• Proficiency in evidence-based reading instruction
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
• Previous experience with elementary and middle school students is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide effective, differentiated reading instruction tailored to individual student needs
• Develop, write, and update IEPs for a manageable caseload of 12 students, ensuring compliance with legal requirements
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to support each student’s educational progress
• Monitor, assess, and document student progress toward IEP goals
• Adapt instructional materials and strategies to accommodate varying learning styles
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and team planning sessions
