Special Education Teacher - West Chester, PA

We are seeking two dedicated professionals for full-time, onsite contract roles serving students in a dynamic setting near West Chester, PA. What we’re seeking:

• Valid certification or licensure to support a special education caseload
• Bachelor’s degree (required for emergency teaching permit eligibility)
• Previous experience in a school environment
• Strong expertise in classroom and behavioral management, with proven results
• Mastery of subject matter, curriculum standards, and instructional techniques
• Demonstrated ability to create standards-aligned lesson plans, utilize differentiation, and apply formative assessments
• Comfortable and adaptable within an urban school setting
• Willingness and capacity to complete all required PA clearances
• Reliable transportation to meet the demands of an onsite schedule
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:30AM–4PM, without schedule accommodations
• Readiness for a Zoom interview as the next step in the process

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement engaging, differentiated instruction for elementary special education students
• Utilize ongoing assessments and data to guide instruction and individualize learning
• Leverage available resources to foster academic and social-emotional success
• Maintain a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment
• Collaborate with peers, support staff, and families to achieve student goals
• Comply with all school and district policies
