Special Education Teacher in West Chester, PA

Qualifications:

• Valid K-4 Special Education Teacher Certification required
• Experience with elementary school students in a special education setting preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction and support to a caseload of approximately 20 students in grades K-4
• Develop, implement, and track IEPs in cooperation with families and school teams
• Foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate regularly with general education teachers and related service providers
• Provide ongoing communication with parents or guardians on student progress
• Adapt instructional methods and materials to meet diverse learning needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal education standards
