This rewarding contract role supports students in grades K-7 through resource and case management positions. With three openings available, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with students and staff to foster growth and achievement in an inclusive educational environment.

Key Details:

• School year: August 2026 – June 2027
• Full-time, Monday through Friday
• 35-37.5 hours per week
• K-7th grade caseload
• Resource positions: Kindergarten Resource, Grade 1-2 Resource, and 7th Grade Resource/Case Manager
• In-person roles only

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Current certification as a Special Education Teacher
• Experience with school-aged children, ideally in K-7 settings
• Proficiency in developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs
• Strong collaboration skills to work with classroom staff and families
• Effective communication, documentation, and case management abilities
• Flexibility, compassion, and a student-focused mindset

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and classroom support for students with varying needs
• Develop and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Maintain consistent communication with parents, team members, and school personnel
• Coordinate and track student progress, adapting instruction as necessary
• Serve as a resource for staff regarding special education practices and strategies
• Manage a caseload of students and oversee required documentation
