Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid state certification in Special Education
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in special education or related field
• Previous experience working with students in K-12 special education settings
• In-depth knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and documentation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Flexibility to adapt to varying student needs and educational programs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction tailored to diverse learners with a variety of disabilities
• Develop, review, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal laws
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure accommodations and modifications support student access and success
• Conduct assessments and interpret results to guide instruction and monitor student progress
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters growth, confidence, and independence
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student goals, progress, and ongoing needs
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and required documentation
