Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification
• Previous experience working with students who have a range of learning, behavioral, or developmental differences
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Familiarity with differentiated instruction and multi-tiered supports
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver individualized lesson plans tailored to students’ unique needs
• Implement and track goals and accommodations outlined in each student’s IEP
• Collect and report data to document student progress
• Collaborate with general education staff and related service providers
• Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing training
• Support students in both classroom and small group settings
• Create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment
