Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Connecticut Special Education License (required)
- Background in special education instruction and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and staff
- Experience managing small caseloads is preferred
- Dedication to fostering a positive, inclusive, and adaptive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver instructional programming tailored to individual student goals and needs
- Implement IEPs and monitor progress, adjusting strategies to maximize student success
- Work collaboratively with related service providers, classroom teachers, and families
- Utilize data and observations to adapt instructional approaches as needed
- Support students’ academic, social, and behavioral growth throughout the school day

- Contract position: August 27 through mid-November
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 2:45 pm
