Key Qualifications:

• Current, active Ohio teaching certificate/license: Education of the Handicapped K-12 or Intervention Specialist K-12 (Moderate/Intensive or Mild/Moderate)
• Proficiency supporting students with multiple disabilities
• Experience effectively managing caseloads at the middle school level
• Ability to differentiate instruction and deliver services in both small group/resource and inclusion models
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with school staff and communication with diverse families
• Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive classroom atmosphere

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized academic instruction and interventions tailored to students’ IEPs
• Support and teach in a variety of settings, including resource rooms, small group sessions, and general education classrooms
• Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet individual student needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families to ensure student success
• Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary
• Maintain organized and compliant documentation for all assigned students
