Desired Qualifications:

• Current and valid OH Intervention Specialist certification (required)
• Experience or strong interest in working with high-needs populations, either in K-5 or high school settings
• Solid understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and differentiated instruction
• Collaborative approach when working with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Flexibility and positivity when managing diverse student needs and classroom situations

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized instructional plans for students with varying abilities
• Modify curriculum and classroom activities to ensure accessibility for all learners
• Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
• Advocate for students and facilitate collaboration among team members (teachers, therapists, and families)
• Engage with students in a supportive, respectful, and inclusive manner
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and ongoing professional learning
