Special Education Teacher - Westerville, OH

Exciting opportunity for dedicated educators passionate about making a difference in the lives of students! We are seeking full-time Intervention Specialists to work across a range of caseloads in K–12 settings in the Reynoldsburg area. These contract positions offer a dynamic and supportive environment where you can truly impact student growth. As an Intervention Specialist, you will:

• Adapt and deliver individualized lesson plans tailored to students’ unique learning needs
• Employ evidence-based strategies for instruction, behavioral management, and progress monitoring
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff to foster inclusive learning environments
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Regularly communicate student progress and participate in IEP meetings
• Utilize a range of assistive technologies and modifications as appropriate for students
• Actively contribute to positive, supportive classroom cultures

Qualifications and experience sought:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential/license in Ohio
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field (Master’s preferred, but not required)
• Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher or Intervention Specialist working with K–12 students
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Excellent communication, adaptability, and organizational skills
• Commitment to advocacy and inclusion for students with diverse learning needs
