Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education Teacher certification/license for Massachusetts (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience in special education, preferably in school settings

  • Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual student needs
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction and support in accordance with student IEPs
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and related service providers
  • Communicate regularly with families about student progress and goals
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
