Desired Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience working in K-12 settings preferred
• Knowledge of instructional strategies for students with diverse abilities
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Compassion, patience, and a commitment to fostering inclusive learning
• Ability to adapt lesson plans and instructional methods as needed
• Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specially designed instruction to students in self-contained classrooms

• Track student progress and maintain accurate records
• Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Foster a positive, supportive, and structured classroom environment

• Participate in professional development and team meetings as required
