Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential or eligibility to obtain one
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
• Strong classroom management and differentiation skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs and abilities
• Previous special education classroom experience preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to students with a range of disabilities
• Assess student progress, collect data, and utilize results to adjust teaching strategies
• Coordinate and participate in IEP meetings, drafting goals and documenting progress
• Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and families to ensure a supportive and integrated educational experience
• Provide behavioral support and implement positive behavioral interventions as needed
• Maintain organized records and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations applicable to special education
