What you’ll bring:

  • Valid Special Education teaching credential (mod/severe emphasis preferred)
  • Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting
  • Background in case management for students with disabilities
  • Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Compassion, adaptability, and a commitment to inclusive education

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver instruction tailored to students with moderate to severe disabilities
  • Serve as a case manager for assigned students, ensuring compliance with IEPs and required documentation
  • Assess students’ needs and monitor progress, using data to inform teaching strategies
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and paraprofessionals
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
  • Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and ongoing training
