Key Qualifications:

• Active Special Education teaching certification
• Experience in elementary-level classrooms or demonstrated interest working with young learners
• Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs
• Familiarity with resource room and/or extended setting instruction
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Organizational skills to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently
• Flexibility and creativity in adapting teaching strategies

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instructional support to students individually or in small groups
• Develop, update, and manage IEPs in accordance with state guidelines
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and school support staff
• Monitor and assess students’ progress towards goals
• Cultivate a positive, supportive learning atmosphere
• Participate in parent meetings, team planning, and professional development activities
