The setting is onsite and especially welcomes professionals open to travel who are passionate about creating a supportive, inclusive learning environment.

Seeking educators who bring compassion, specialized expertise, and resilience to their roles, particularly for students who may be non-verbal, on the autism spectrum, and require toileting support. Collaboration is key, as some classrooms are supported by Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Hold an active Special Education Teacher certification
  • Experience in substantially separate classroom environments is strongly preferred
  • Expertise in specially designed instruction (SDI) and applied behavior analysis (ABA) strongly valued
  • Comfortable working with severe needs populations, including non-verbal students and those requiring significant physical support
  • Compassionate, patient, and adaptable with collaborative skills for working with aides and other team members

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored instruction and interventions to small groups of students with severe cognitive and physical disabilities
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Adapt curriculum and materials to meet a diverse range of learning needs
  • Work collaboratively with RBTs, aides, and multidisciplinary staff
  • Provide daily support with toileting, communication strategies, and mobility
  • Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom culture
