What you’ll bring:

• Active Special Education (SPED) teaching certification
• Previous experience supporting life skills caseloads at the elementary and/or high school level preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with staff, students, and families
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a dynamic school atmosphere
• Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive educational environments

Your responsibilities:

• Provide engaging, individualized instruction for life skills classrooms (two at the high school level, one at the elementary)
• Develop and implement differentiated lesson plans tailored to each student’s IEP goals
• Collect and analyze data on student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, and general education teachers to ensure every student’s needs are met
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and strategies for support
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and professional collaboration sessions
