Special Education Teacher (SPED) – Williston, SC | 2026–2027 School Year

Soliant is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a school-based position in the Williston, South Carolina area for the 2026–2027 school year. Position Details

  • Location: Williston, SC area
  • School Year: 2026–2027
  • Grade Levels: 4th–6th Grade

Caseload: 

  • Approximately 20 students
  • Full-time, school-based position

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Provide specialized instruction based on students' academic and behavioral needs
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, therapists, and families
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
  • Attend and participate in IEP meetings and educational planning sessions
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations

Qualifications

  • Active South Carolina Special Education teaching certification or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
