K-5 Grades 6 - 8 Special Education Teacher - Willmar, Minnesota

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience or willingness to work with students in Grades K–5, 6–8, and 9–12
• Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Ability to foster an inclusive classroom environment
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Adaptability and commitment to student growth and success

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans based on assessment data and student needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate successful inclusion
• Track progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Create positive classroom climates that promote learning and self-advocacy
• Modify curriculum and teaching approaches to meet diverse learning needs
• Support student social, emotional, and academic growth every day
