Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education (K-12 or applicable grade bands)
• Experience working with students in elementary, middle, or high school settings (K-5, 6-8, 9-12)
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to develop and modify Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Demonstrated commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive classroom
• Team-oriented mindset and openness to collaboration with staff and families

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized educational plans for students with special needs
• Adapt instructional materials and strategies to accommodate each learner
• Monitor student progress and document growth, communicating regularly with parents and support staff
• Collaborate with general education teachers, counselors, and related service providers
• Provide a safe, engaging learning environment that promotes respect and achievement for all students
• Attend meetings, participate in professional development, and contribute to school-wide initiatives
