Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience working within K–12 settings, with comfort teaching elementary, middle, or high school students
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Ability to effectively differentiate instruction to meet unique learning requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Organizational skills to support case management and documentation requirements
• Flexibility, adaptability, and eagerness to support a diverse school community

Primary Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals for students at various grade levels
• Assess students’ abilities and needs, adjusting instruction to maximize learning outcomes
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff to provide a cohesive learning experience
• Communicate with families about student progress, goals, and strategies to support learning at home
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff development opportunities
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policy and legal requirements
• Support classroom management and create a positive, inclusive learning environment
