Key Qualifications:

  • Valid 461 TN special education license required
  • Prior experience teaching or supporting students in K-2nd grade preferred
  • Strong understanding of early childhood education and differentiated instruction

  • Adaptable, collaborative, and proactive mindset

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized instruction to students in a self-contained K-2nd grade classroom
  • Develop and implement IEPs, working in partnership with parents, colleagues, and support staff
  • Monitor student progress and document outcomes to inform instruction
  • Manage classroom routines, reinforcing positive behavior and engagement
  • Foster a nurturing, safe, and structured environment where every student can thrive
