Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid GA teaching certification or licensure for Special Education.
• Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs.
• Strong classroom management and behavior skills.

Location: Winder, GA
Start: Beginning of 26/27 School Year
Full-Time,
Caseload: Elementary students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Details discussed in an interview.
Pay: $35-38/hour dependent on qualifications and experience

Position:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Special Education Teacher to lead a self-contained elementary classroom serving students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and significant cognitive disabilities.
The classroom supports students with complex learning needs, adaptive functioning deficits, and behavioral challenges. The teacher will provide individualized instruction aligned with adapted curriculum standards while fostering student independence and growth.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with
disabilities, in collaboration with parents/guardians, support staff, and related service
providers.
• Provide direct instruction utilizing adapted curriculum standards.
• Manage classroom routines and behavioral support systems.
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families.
• Collect and analyze student data to monitor progress.
• Support communication, social, behavioral, and functional skill development.
