Special Education Teacher - Winter Garden, Florida

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in elementary settings
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility, positivity, and a collaborative spirit
• Experience with in-person classroom management and engagement

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specially designed instruction to elementary students with diverse learning needs
• Adapt and modify teaching materials and strategies to suit various abilities and learning styles
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for all assigned students
• Work closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
• Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and needs
• Attend scheduled team, parent, and staff meetings as required
