Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Current and valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families
• Adaptability, creativity, and patience in managing a variety of classroom situations

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs to address each student’s unique needs and learning goals
• Provide direct instruction, modifying curriculum, and employing appropriate accommodations
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure students receive integrated services
• Maintain accurate records and track student progress, updating IEPs as necessary
