Position: Special Education Teacher 1:1
Hours: Full time/Part Time
Location: Position is near Woodbridge, Virginia 
School Year: 2025/2026
Pay Range: Contractors are compensated weekly at an hourly rate, with pay ranges determined by state, location, and experience/education. Hourly compensation for our Special Education Teachers ranges from $30 to $50 an hour.

Responsibilities:

• First Position:  10th Grader - Significant Medical issued (Position Requires candidates to wear Masks and Gloves), They are on the ALIGN standard of learning (candidates are required to have knowledge of the ALIGN standards) 

    Second Position: 6th Grader - Multiple Disability's / Visually Impaired. Reading and Math Intervention, Daily Living Skills

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) for each student
• Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure effective support for students
• Track and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and administration about student progress

Qualifications:

• Valid Virginia Special Education certification
• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Reliable Transportation
