Special Education Teacher - Woodburn, OR

An education provider in the Salem area is seeking dedicated professionals to work with students who have diverse learning needs. These contract positions start as soon as possible and run through June 5, 2026, supporting various grade levels and specialized programs—all onsite and full time at 37.5 hours per week.

Current openings include:

• Elementary Developmental classrooms (2 roles, each supporting 15 students alongside 6 instructional assistants; focus on behavioral, ASD, and communication needs)
• Elementary Behavior classroom (grades 3–5, 16 students, 5 assistants)
• Middle School Resource (40 students with the help of 2 shared assistants)
• Elementary Resource (serving two nearby sites, 35 students total, 1 assistant per building)
• Middle School Behavior program (15 students, 5 instructional assistants)

What you’ll bring:

• An active Oregon Special Education certification or license (required)
• Previous experience delivering individualized instruction and collaborating with instructional assistants
• Ability to develop and implement effective IEPs tailored to students with behavioral, ASD, and diverse communication needs
• Strong organizational skills and adaptability to work at multiple sites, when needed
• Reference information for your most recent supervisor ready for consideration

• Designing, teaching, and modifying curriculum for special education students
