Position Overview

A district near Saint Paul is seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher to support students requiring behavioral and emotional interventions within a structured learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic and behavioral instruction based on IEP goals

• Implement research-based emotional and behavioral interventions

• Work collaboratively with general education and behavioral teams

• Maintain detailed progress monitoring and service documentation

• Participate in IEP meetings and crisis intervention planning

Requirements

• Minnesota EBD Special Education License (required)

• Familiarity with restorative practices and SEL programs

• Strong behavior-management and rapport-building skills

Compensation & Benefits

• $38–$45/hour
