Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with behavioral intervention strategies and inclusive classroom practices
  • Organizational skills and flexibility to manage multiple priorities and caseloads

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and update IEPs according to assessment data and student growth
  • Adapt lesson materials and teaching approaches to accommodate individual learning differences
  • Provide direct instruction in academic, social, and life skills as outlined in IEPs
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and related service providers to foster an inclusive educational environment
  • Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate and timely records
  • Engage with families and guardians to communicate progress and advocate for student needs
  • Contribute to eligibility meetings, progress conferences, and staff professional development sessions
