Special Education Teacher - Woodland, WA

Key Qualifications:

• Hold active Washington State Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience working with students with diverse disabilities at the middle school level is preferred
• Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to adapt instructional methods and classroom management strategies to meet a range of needs
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized educational programs (IEPs) tailored to student strengths and needs
• Collaborate with fellow educators, school staff, and families to support student progress
• Provide direct instruction, intervention, and ongoing assessment for students with various disabilities
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal requirements
• Create an engaging classroom environment that promotes learning, independence, and social growth
