This contract role is available either part-time or full-time through the end of the school year and provides the opportunity to work closely with a group of five students who benefit from individualized programming and attention.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experience leading or assisting life skills classes preferred
- Strong understanding of IEPs and differentiated instruction
- Ability to collaborate with other staff and support team-based approaches
- Excellent communication skills for working with students, families, and colleagues
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to student IEPs, focusing on life skills and core academics
- Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Monitor and document student progress, adapting strategies as necessary
- Communicate regularly with parents and care teams on student development
- Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and collaborative planning
- Provide individualized support and encouragement to each student
