Special Education Teacher - Worcester, MA

The position runs from August 25, 2025 through June 19, 2026, with classroom hours scheduled from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm.

Ideal Qualifications:

• Valid licensure or certification in Special Education
• Experience working with elementary students (grades K-4)
• Background supporting students with therapeutic or behavioral needs in a substantially separate classroom setting
• Strong communication and collaborative skills with colleagues, families, and support staff
• Creative problem-solver with a nurturing and patient approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver adapted instructional lessons to meet each student’s IEP goals
• Facilitate an inclusive, structured, and positive classroom environment
• Collaborate with related service providers, teaching assistants, and administration to foster student growth
• Track progress, maintain documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student achievements, needs, and strategies for ongoing support
