Bring your passion for supporting young learners to a rewarding Special Education role tailored for dedicated educators seeking a meaningful, full-time contract opportunity. Work onsite at a vibrant elementary school near Worcester, MA, serving a caseload of 2nd and 3rd grade students with developmental delays or intellectual impairments. The assignment begins as soon as possible, continuing through June 25, 2026, with a weekday schedule from 8:00AM to 2:30PM.

Ideal candidates will possess strong experience in a school environment, particularly working with students requiring individualized educational support plans. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues, families, and support staff to create a nurturing, inclusive school experience for every learner.

Qualifications:

  • Prior school-based experience as a Special Education Teacher
  • Active Massachusetts license/certification in Moderate or Severe Disabilities
  • Ability to fulfill all requirements for CORI search and fingerprinting (previous letter of suitability from employer may be accepted)
  • Comfort with utilizing technology, including participating in a Zoom interview
  • Commitment to supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of elementary-age students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement individualized instruction for 2nd and 3rd graders with developmental delays or intellectual impairments
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to ensure student success
  • Adapt curriculum materials and assessment tools to meet each student’s unique needs
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to all compliance and reporting requirements
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom community
