Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification or eligibility
- Previous experience with elementary-aged students preferred
- Knowledge of differentiated instruction strategies and inclusion practices
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse needs

Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and small-group instruction within mainstream classrooms for students with diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers to adapt curricula and instructional strategies for students with IEPs or 504 Plans
- Monitor student progress, maintain records, and regularly update goals to ensure growth and compliance
- Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and parent conferences as required
- Provide consultative support and professional guidance to colleagues to promote the success of inclusion practices
- Encourage positive behavior, social skills, and self-advocacy among students
- Foster open lines of communication with families, offering updates and support
