This contract opportunity is for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to work onsite for an Extended School Year (ESY) program, with the potential for continued employment into the 26/27 academic year. The assignment will take place at a supportive learning center, fostering an inclusive and nurturing atmosphere for both students and staff.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid PA Special Education Teacher certification required
• Experience working with students in special education settings, ideally within school environments
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Positive, flexible attitude and commitment to fostering student growth

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to students with diverse abilities
• Collaborate with fellow educators, paraprofessionals, and families to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation of student attendance, performance, and behavioral data
• Participate in staff inservice training on July 7, 2026
• Teach ESY students from July 8, 2026 through July 30, 2026, Monday through Thursday, between 8:15am and 11:45am
• Possibility to transition into a full 26/27 school year position, with anticipated school hours from 7:45am – 3:15pm
