Special Education Teacher | York, Pennsylvania

We're seeking two passionate Special Education Teachers to work in Autistic Support classrooms for the upcoming school years. The position runs from ASAP through May 27, 2027, providing stability and purpose near York, PA. Hours are 7:45 AM – 3:15 PM, following a traditional school schedule.

Key Qualifications:
• Current Pennsylvania (PA) Teaching Certificate required
• Previous experience in Special Education settings preferred
• Familiarity with working in Autistic Support classrooms is highly desirable
• Ability to collaborate effectively with paraprofessionals and school staff
• Strong communication skills to foster a positive learning environment
• Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for supporting diverse learners

Your Responsibilities:
• Deliver individualized instruction and interventions in Autistic Support classrooms
• Adapt lesson plans and instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs
• Coordinate and communicate with classroom PCAs (Paraprofessional Care Assistants) for enhanced student support
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with families and staff
• Participate in ongoing professional development and school activities
