Qualifications & Experience:

• Current elementary teaching certification required
• ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) teaching certification for K-1 preferred
• Experience working in special education classrooms, particularly with early elementary students
• Proven ability to adapt and differentiate instruction, fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere
• Collaborative spirit—willing to work closely with paras and a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver meaningful, individualized instruction to a small group of K-1 students
• Seamlessly implement and adapt the provided new curriculum
• Supervise and partner with three paraprofessionals in the classroom
• Collaborate with support professionals (speech, OT, social work, ASD coaching) to maximize student progress
• Maintain thorough documentation and communication with families and team members
