Special Education Teacher in Yuba City, CA

Embark on a new contract opportunity as a Special Education Teacher, making a meaningful impact during the 2026-2027 academic year. This role is based near Yuba City, CA and runs from September 14, 2026, through June 4, 2027, with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week on-site. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification
• Experience teaching in school-based settings, preferably in Special Education
• Ability to adapt lessons and materials to meet individual student needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Knowledge of current best practices and regulations in special education
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student requirements
• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to students with diverse learning abilities
• Work collaboratively with other educators, support staff, and families
• Monitor, document, and report on student progress
• Adjust teaching strategies to support each student's growth and unique challenges
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school activities as needed
