Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential required
• Proven experience or training in Special Education strategies and instructional techniques
• Ability to foster an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment

• Flexible approach to adapting lesson plans and instruction to meet diverse student needs
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and collaboration

Primary Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver effective instruction to students with varying abilities in a Special Education setting
• Continuously assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Collaborate with general education staff, families, and other support professionals
• Maintain required records, including student progress and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Support positive behaviors and implement classroom management techniques
• Participate in school meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities

Position Details:

• Contract position covering the school year from September 14, 2026, through June 4, 2027
• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, onsite presence required
