Special Education Teacher - Yukon, Oklahoma

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Oklahoma State Educator License with Mild-Moderate or Severe-Profound Endorsement
• Skilled in creating, adapting, and executing IEPs
• Experience collaborating with specialists and related services personnel
• Two years of recent teaching experience (preferred)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Genuine commitment to student growth and learning

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized instruction aligned with each student’s IEP
• Work closely with families, paraprofessionals, and other support staff to support student goals
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment for diverse learners
• Stay current with best practices in Special Education and ongoing professional development
