The school is seeking passionate educators for two impactful roles: Life Skills Self-Contained or Instructional/Resource, with assignments available August 17, 2026, through May 27, 2027.

Qualifications:

  • Valid and active Professional Educator License (PEL) in Special Education (please be prepared to present a copy during the application process)
  • Experience teaching students with special needs in either a Life Skills Self-Contained or Instructional/Resource setting preferred
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Positive attitude, flexibility, and commitment to student growth

Responsibilities:

  • Teach and support students with diverse learning challenges, tailoring instruction to individual needs
  • Manage classroom dynamics, behavior interventions, and academic activities
  • Collaborate with instructional teams, support staff, and parents to promote student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in line with district guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and ongoing professional learning
