Key Qualifications:

  • Valid teaching credential as a Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) instructor; open to licensed professionals from any state
  • Experience working with K-12 students with hearing impairments
  • Strong communication, advocacy, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet varied student needs
  • Comfortable managing a flexible schedule across multiple nearby locations

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct instructional support to five students across different grades (K-12)
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, staff, and families to design and implement effective IEPs
  • Travel between sites within close proximity to offer services where needed
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records of interventions and outcomes
  • Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding best practices in supporting Deaf/Hard of Hearing students
