Key Qualifications:

  • Required experience as a Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing
  • Valid teaching certification for Deaf / Hard of Hearing students (state-level or equivalency)
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience working across multiple school campuses is a plus
  • Ability to adapt instruction for individual needs
  • Reliable transportation for traveling between Dallas and Fort Worth campuses

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide direct instruction and support to a total of 4 students (3 across different Fort Worth campuses and 1 on a Dallas campus)
  • Offer individualized educational plans and strategies to help students thrive
  • Coordinate with general education teachers and school staff to facilitate inclusive learning
  • Travel between campuses as scheduled to deliver on-site services
  • Document and report student progress in accordance with school guidelines
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices for Deaf / Hard of Hearing education
