Key Qualifications:
- Required experience as a Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing
- Valid teaching certification for Deaf / Hard of Hearing students (state-level or equivalency)
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Experience working across multiple school campuses is a plus
- Ability to adapt instruction for individual needs
- Reliable transportation for traveling between Dallas and Fort Worth campuses
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct instruction and support to a total of 4 students (3 across different Fort Worth campuses and 1 on a Dallas campus)
- Offer individualized educational plans and strategies to help students thrive
- Coordinate with general education teachers and school staff to facilitate inclusive learning
- Travel between campuses as scheduled to deliver on-site services
- Document and report student progress in accordance with school guidelines
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices for Deaf / Hard of Hearing education
