DHH Teacher | Boston, Massachusetts

What you'll bring:

• Current Massachusetts Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing certification
• Experience or training as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing in school environments
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with students, staff, and families
• Comfort adapting to a flexible schedule and caseload

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instructional support and advocacy for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
• Collaborate with the existing Teacher of the Deaf to coordinate services and ensure student needs are met
• Consult with school staff and families to promote student success in inclusive settings
• Contribute to individualized education plans and maintain thorough documentation of student progress
• Communicate proactively with the district regarding your preferred age groups, caseload, and school placements
