Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification for Deaf/Hard of Hearing students

- Familiarity with sign language and alternative communication methods
- Ability to collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative educational services to deaf and hard of hearing students across grade levels
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals to ensure access to curriculum and classroom engagement
- Advocate for students' needs while promoting independence and self-advocacy
- Offer resources and training to teachers and staff regarding accommodations, communication strategies, and best practices
- Collaborate regularly with multidisciplinary teams and family members to support holistic student growth
- Document progress and participate in IEP meetings
