Key Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification or license as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
- Demonstrated experience in DHH education, consultation, and support
- Deep knowledge of best practices, accommodations, and assistive technology for DHH students
- Strong skills in collaboration with general and special education staff, families, and support teams
- Ability to provide training, resources, and guidance to school personnel and parents
- Clear communication skills in both written and spoken English; American Sign Language proficiency preferred

Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as a consultant to multiple schools, providing expertise related to Deaf and Hard of Hearing students

- Support and coach classroom teachers in adapting materials and instructional strategies
- Facilitate communication and problem-solving between families, students, and educational teams
- Offer professional development and informational sessions for staff members
