Starting as soon as possible and continuing through March 2026—with the possibility of extension—this part-time role (ideally 10-15 hours weekly, with flexible scheduling) offers the chance to partner with a dedicated district Teacher of the Deaf to meet student needs district-wide.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Massachusetts Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing certification required
• Experience working with D/deaf or Hard of Hearing students in educational settings
• Ability to collaborate with another Teacher of the Deaf and school staff
• Strong communication and advocacy skills
• Comfort adapting instruction for various age groups and needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction and support to D/deaf or Hard of Hearing students in accordance with IEPs
• Adapt and personalize curriculum to meet diverse language and communication styles
• Collaborate with district staff and families to promote student success and inclusion
• Contribute to team meetings, planning, and problem-solving for student caseloads
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and communication
