Qualifications & Skills:

  • Certification and experience as a Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing, or a Teacher for the Visually Impaired
  • Deep knowledge of instructional strategies for students with hearing or vision impairments
  • Current teaching credentials/licensure appropriate for the specialty area(s)
  • Ability to create and adapt Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Strong collaboration skills with general educators, school staff, families, and related services
  • A genuine passion for empowering students of varying ability levels
