This role encompasses both part-time openings for Teachers of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) and Teachers for the Visually Impaired (TVI), with the option to combine the positions into a full-time schedule.

Desired Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing or Visual Impairment
- Strong communication and advocacy skills for students with sensory impairments
- Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Familiarity with assistive technology and adaptive instructional strategies
- Team-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate with educators, families, and specialists
- Previous school-based experience preferred
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and adapting instructional materials to meet individual student needs
- Providing direct instruction and support to DHH and visually impaired students
- Collaborating with general educators, specialists, and families to optimize learning outcomes
- Monitoring student progress and documenting growth toward educational objectives
- Conducting assessments and participating in IEP meetings
- Offering consultation and training to staff on best practices for accessibility and inclusion
