Candidates with the following qualifications are strongly encouraged to apply:

• Valid teaching certification with endorsement in Deaf/Hard of Hearing Education
• Experience developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Proficiency with assistive technologies and communication modalities (e.g., ASL, oral/aural approaches)
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including general education teachers, specialists, and families
• Strong communication, advocacy, and classroom management skills

In this role, you will:

• Provide direct instruction tailored to individual student needs
• Support student access to the curriculum through language and communication development
• Consult with educators and staff on effective modifications and accommodations
• Facilitate and participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and goal tracking
