Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current Special Education teaching certification with an endorsement in Hearing Impairment (HI)
- Experience as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing in educational settings
- Deep understanding of communication strategies, assistive technology, and accommodations for hearing-impaired students
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with families, teachers, and support staff
- Commitment to creating individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapting curriculum to meet each student’s unique needs
