In this rewarding position, you’ll work directly with five students across K-12 who require your expertise, traveling between convenient sites in close proximity. What You’ll Bring:

  • Current certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (open to out-of-state licenses)
  • Experience working with K-12 students in an educational setting
  • Ability to tailor instructional and communication strategies to individual needs
  • Strong organizational skills to comfortably manage a caseload across multiple locations
  • Dedication to fostering inclusion and advocacy for students with hearing challenges

Role Duties:

  • Provide direct and consultative services for approximately 8-10 hours per week
  • Collaborate with educational staff to design and implement effective IEPs
  • Facilitate age-appropriate instructional support and accommodations for students
  • Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and communicate findings with stakeholders
  • Adapt to a dynamic schedule visiting multiple district sites within a short driving distance
