This part-time contract position offers a meaningful opportunity to provide specialized instruction from July 27th, 2026, through May 25th, 2027. Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Georgia Teaching Certificate in Special Education—Deaf Education (P–12), or a Special Education General Curriculum (P–12) with a Deaf/Hard of Hearing endorsement.
- Demonstrated experience or passion for teaching students who are deaf or hard of hearing within school settings.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and multidisciplinary educational staff.
- Ability to adapt and personalize instructional methods to meet a spectrum of learning needs.
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing, both in individual and group settings, across multiple school locations.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to promote an inclusive learning atmosphere.
